About Chapel Golf Club
A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at Chapel, come and play golf in the High Peak and take in the breathtaking scenery surrounding you
The beautiful parkland course set in Chapel-en-le-Frith known as 'the capital of the Peak District' offers a challenging test for all golfers combined with an easy walking course. Chapel-en-le-Frith Golf Club is located in the High Peak, 13 miles southeast of Stockport, close to Buxton and Macclesfield
As you approach through the foothills of the Pennines you could be mistaken for anticipating quite a stiff walking test here in the High Peak. Nothing could be further from the truth!
You will soon discover that the course, nestling in the valley between Whaley Bridge and Chapel-en-le-Frith, is built on gentle rolling parkland surrounded by the magnificent scenery of the Peak District. The peaks act merely as a beautiful backdrop
The course offers a variety of challenges designed to test golfers of all standards. The beautifully presented greens are medium paced and vary between flat and significantly undulating. The course uses many natural features (lakes, rivers and trees) to enhance the superbly designed layout which is regularly used for County representative matches and more recently in March 2012 the venue for the England v England Futures match.
