About Cuthberts Toys

We'd been living in St Albans for 20 years and noticed that children were not very well catered for on the high street, so we decided to open an independent toy store, where children could come and spend their pocket money and experience the magic of a real toy store. We officially opened our doors for the first time in September 2009 and since then have continued to grow from strength to strength; opening another store in Letchworth in 2010, another in the Galleria in Hatfield and most recently (2015) one in Stevenage. In 2013 we were voted the ninth 'best shop outside London' in Vogue and were' Specialist Retailer of the Year in 2011' - St Albans We're passionate about toys and dedicate a lot of time researching (playing with) the toys before we stock them.
