About Smokehouse Cook and lucas

Cook & Lucas have now been established for quite a number of years, boasting a collective wealth of hundreds of years of experience in all aspects of the fish industry. We import up to 300 tonnes of Norwegian fresh fish a week probably making us the largest Norway importer in the UK. Located in Grimsby we have a rapidly growing processing factory with the latest in cutting edge filleting machine and 20 filleters which enables us to move a lot of these volumes daily. With the supplies of fish not being as they were we supply a lot of the UK Merchants with whole fish, also over 200 Fryers/ restaurants and leading retailers with fresh and frozen fish We are BRC accredited having achieved Double Grade AA in 2017, 2018 and Grade A in 2019. MSC Certified for a number of years making sure the fish you eat can be traced back to sustainable source. We are also a member of Sedex which is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to improve ethical and responsible business practices in global supply chains. We also have our own retail shop and smoke house running from another site which is accredited with BRC and MSC certified and a member of the Grimsby Traditional fish smokers Group and has PGI (protected Geographical Indication) all fish is smoked in the traditional way using chimneys over 100 years old.
