About Proprietor
Four self catering holiday cottages sleeping 5 to 14 people located in the beautiful Gower in a choice of locations.Hael Farm Cottage is in a wonderfully secluded location away from any roads, yet within 3/4 mile of the village and local amenities. A bridle path passes in front of the cottage, leading via a pretty wooded stream to Pwlldu Bay, today an enchanting walk, but in the past a notorious smuggling route. In the other direction there are stunning cliff top walks with breathtaking views across to the Devon coast, which lead down to Pobbles and Three Cliffs Bays. The walk in either direction to the beaches is about 1 1/2 miles, but the walk itself is well worth it in its own right. Oxwich View and Port Eynon Beach are a pair of semi detached cottages located 100 m from the beach in Port Eynon. The cottages sleep 6 and 8 respectively, or can be combined to accommodate 14 people.I don't know if you are familiar with the Gower and Port Eynon, but it is very much a charming fishing village and as such consists of pretty cottages developed in a random higgledy piggledy fashion. There is nothing like the stunning view over the village with the sea stretching to the horizon as you begin your descent down into the village via the winding road. Port Eynon is the most southerly point of the Gower and the public road ends there. There is no through traffic. The beach is backed by sand dunes and you can walk along to the East to Horton, another charming village. In addition to the restaurant and the pub, there are fish restaurants, a surf shop, and general stores for provisions.
Squirrels Leap is located in Blue Anchor and has a purpose built ground floor apartment for disabled people and those with limited mobility. Pets are allowed in all cottages, with Squirrel's Leap being particularly suitable with a large dog and child proof garden
