Our traditional South-Indian recipes are made with the natural herbs and spices used commonly in India and Kerala specifically, such as coconut, cardamom, chillies and cloves. These spices are well known to have a number of health benefits, for instance the cardamom pod, which adds a distinctively sweet taste, is an anti-oxidant and rich source of minerals, as are chillies. Coconuts are very commonly used in Kerala dishes and provide a characteristic rich and creamy taste. They are also excellent sources of fibre and boost ones immunity.
