About The Lantern Pike Inn
The Lantern Pike Inn is Pub, Restaurant and B&B situated in Little Hayfield, on the A624 between Glossop and Chapel-en-le-Frith, and has been an Inn since 1851. The pub itself dates from the building of the turnpike from Old Glossop to Buxton in 1792. We are 30mins from Manchester City Centre, 40 mins Sheffield City Centre, and just 20 mins from either Stockport or Buxton.
Steeped in history and rich in character the pub is within the bounds of the Peak District National Park, and whilst having all modern amenities retains its old world charm and provides the perfect base for you to discover The Peak District, Hayfield and surrounding attractions.
Today, the resident owners Stella and Tom Cunliffe extend a warm and friendly welcome to all who frequent their country hostelry, with a roaring fire, good food complemented with a well-balanced Wine Menu, well-kept real ales and comfortable bedrooms. We are also very proud to be Little Hayfield's/Hayfield's ONLY main entry in the Good Pub Guide and the Good Beer Guide for the years 2009 - 2014.
