Willington Hall was built in 1829 once a private house of the Tomkinson family and was converted into this wonderful hotel in 1977. The architect, George Latham, practised a style he called ‘Queen Elizabethan’ and the period features and country house charm have been preserved to this day. In 1999 the Begbie family, hotel proprietors for three generations, took over the hotel and have lovingly restored the house and gardens.
Each of the 12 en-suite bedrooms are individually designed with their own unique layout and antique furnishings. All of these luxurious rooms contain Egyptian cotton linen and complimentary toiletries, equipped with all necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable stay.
