About Tamesis Dock
Moored between Vauxhall and Lambeth bridge, this colourful 1930s Dutch barge has been lovingly converted into a floating pub, live music and events space. With a relaxed atmosphere and quirky interior Tamesis Dock is one of London’s hidden gems.
By day, the boat boasts the best views of London's most iconic landmarks including the Houses of Parliament, The London Eye and Battersea Power Station. It is the perfect spot to escape the rapid pace of the city, yet still a stones throw from all it's highlights. At night Tamesis lights up the Thames with music and a friendly, relaxed vibe, regularly playing host to live music and comedy events.
The independently-run vessel has generous indoor space with a dance floor, bar, and outdoor deck spaces with views of the river across Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Battersea Power Station, and the London Eye.
Open daily, Tamesis Dock serves hot and cold drinks, a wide range of spirits and beers, cocktails, and a great selection of perfect riverside foods such as burgers, tapas, nachos, and (of course) fish and chips. You can also head down on a Saturday or Sunday for their weekend brunch.
The eclectic interior, great location, and friendly atmosphere makes it a must-see on any London visit and should have something to float everyones boat.
