About Foot 1st Podiatry & Chiropody
You can be sure your feet are in safe hands here at Foot 1st. Our Podiatrist, Oliver Highland is fully HCPC registered and an active member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists. He graduated from Salford University with a 1st class Hons in Podiatry and is currently working towards an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice. Oliver previously worked for the Diabetic Limb Salvage Centre within the Leeds NHS trust, working with patients requiring very specialist foot care. These include Rheumatology/Connective tissue disorders, Musculoskeletal disorders, Vascular and Renal, nail and soft tissue surgery as well as general mixed foot pathogens. Oliver also ran the NHS staff Podiatry service within the Leeds hospitals, diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical staff working for the local NHS Trust.
Now Oliver has now moved into the private sector and created Foot 1st, a new kind of Podiatry & Chiropody practice maintaining the very highest clinical standards we expect of a hospital, but adding a personal more luxurious touch. We believe that Podiatry should be a pleasurable experience and that’s the standard of service our patients now enjoy. With clinics in both Harrogate and Leeds town centre’s, we’re easily accessible to patients throughout the North/West Yorkshire region.
