My name is Mary O'Neill and Amaranth Counselling is my private counselling service. I am a BACP Accredited counsellor with ten years experience and I believe counselling is useful to treat many mental health problems such as a depression and anxiety. I specialize in the treatment of trauma and use a wide variety of treatments including NICE recommended EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing. I am also very interested in helping people cope with stressful work environments such as the NHS and in particular I am keen to work with people who have experienced workplace bullying; this topic has been the subject of my Masters research project and I have developed a counselling strategy that has been found to be helpful to clients experiencing high levels of workplace stress and conflict. I am willing to see clients by Skype too.
