About The Malthouse
The Malt House pub dates back to 1729 when it was named The Maltster as a nod to those working in the local brewing industry. Renamed in 1900 as the Jolly Maltster the pub retained its historical link with the Fulham malt houses or maltings, in which cereal grain was converted into malt by a process of soaking and drying.
Re-opened under new management in January 2013 after a total refurbishment and a final name change, The Malt House has quickly gained a reputation as one of Fulham's most elegant dining destinations.
With its high ceilings and beautiful décor The Malt House is a fantastic space in which to dine, drink and relax. In addition to a large dining space and cosy bar area the pub also has a charming beer garden and offers accommodation in the form of six luxurious en-suite king-size bedrooms.
Open seven days a week and located just 2 minutes' walk from Fulham Broadway tube, The Malt House is the perfect base from which to explore London whether you're in town on business or enjoying a romantic city break. We also offer a bespoke catering service to those booking a birthday party, wedding reception or any other function at our pub.
As a venue The Malt House has it all: fantastic food, an exciting range of drinks and luxurious accommodation conveniently brought together in one location.
