About RCM Events
RCM consists of three friends/colleagues who met whilst working at Homerton University Hospital. Rob was and still is Supervisor of Healthcare Records, Curtis was Admissions Booking Clerk and now works for the City & Hackney CCG, with a background in event management and Marc was a Patients Initiative Officer and is now the Service Manager of of the Diabetic Eye Screening Programme in Newham, East London.
During a conversation about the lack of staff events at Homerton we came up with the idea of organising a Christmas Party for our fellow colleagues. We felt that NHS staff work hard all year and deserve the chance to let their hair down.
We were intent on delivering a party with a mixture of music and great vibes, where staff of all ages and cultures felt comfortable.
The first event took place in December 2007 at Jamies Bar in Bishopsgate and tickets sold out within one week of going on sale. The night was a resounding success. Following on from this success and the amazing feedback received, we decided to host regular events and open them up to other London trusts.
We also provide event management for special occassions such as parties, christenings, and weddings. In addition to this we host quiz, and club events.
