About Lucy the Osteopath
Miss Lucy Rayner BOst MICO, Classical Osteopath.
Classical, Cranio-Sacral, Sports, Spinal Injuries and Trauma Care. Post-Partum, Pregnancy, Neonatal and Children.
Lucy has worked in multiple practices in London and internationally, gaining vast experience over the past nine years in general practice. She has worked extensively for rugby and sports teams, children and neonatal clinics and in family medicine, acute injury, chronic disease processes, all with a supportive coaching style and further counselling when needed.
Having taught herself to massage by the age of six, she found her calling into Osteopathy at the age of eight, her passion for Osteopathy is encouraged by further study in its science and art of technique, and regularly locuming internationally with the ambition to broaden the reach of Osteopathy and its practice around the world.
Lucy’s special interest is in how Osteopathy can aid those with experiences of emotional and physical trauma, and stress – and has previously lectured in this field. Identifying any emotional issues which may make recovery from physical issues more difficult to overcome. Lucy is currently continuing her studies into The Neurobiological Legacy of Trauma, and Women's Health.
