About Reflections Nursery and Forest School
How are we different? Well, we make a point of listening to children's theories and giving them the opportunity to test their hypotheses because we believe that's the way they learn. (We're happy to talk about this for hours if you'll let us).
Reflections Nursery & Forest School in Worthing was judged 'Outstanding' by Ofsted at the last three inspections in 2010, 2013 and 2014. The nursery won UK Nursery of the Year in 2009/10 (the only time we've entered the competition); judge, Wendy Scott said this about the nursery...
"Children have genuine choices and a lot of scope for exploration and expression in an engaging, beautiful and well-cared-for environment. Staff take children's ideas seriously, giving them plenty of time. Reflections is an exciting place to be in relation to the physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual well-being of children and adults."
Wendy Scott - Former adviser to the Department for Education & Skills
Our nursery is in a lovely Regency building on three floors with loads of space, lots of light and a huge garden. We work hard on making the nursery environment inspiring by offering open-ended, natural and reclaimed resources for the children so they can add their imaginations and creativity.
Staff at Reflections make a point of listening to children's theories and giving them the opportunity to test their hypotheses because we believe that's the way they learn.
We would like to invite you to visit the nursery and see our approach for yourself.
