About Emmajane Williamson CBT
I qualified as a General Nurse in 1989; my experience in supporting people includes nursing on Wards, within GP Surgeries, as a Community Diabetes Specialist Nurse and supporting the unemployed back to work by offering appropriate counselling and health assistance via therapeutic courses.
I have been trained in Person-Centred Counselling since 1993, Solution Focused Therapy since 2006 and since 2007 in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I have a Master of Science degree (MSc.) in CBT. I have previously been employed by The Priory Hospital Group and a Drug & Alcohol Treatment Centre as a counsellor and I now specialise in private practice as a CBT Therapist to provide a professional, sensitive and confidential counselling service to individuals and couples. Assistance is provided to address issues relating to a wide variety of problems including (but not restricted to) depression, bullying, addiction, abuse, stress, PTSD, OCD, trauma and phobias etc. Evening and weekend appointments available and NHS Staff are particularly welcome.
