About Elliott
St Michaels B&B is an award winning 4 star B&B offering 6 en-suite rooms furnished to a high standard, and offering superb locally sourced breakfasts. Why stay in Marazion? Basically because it is the gateway to the magnificent island castle of St Michael’s Mount. Whether you walk across the causeway or are ferried over at high tide, a visit to the Mount must rate highly in the wish list of any holiday maker – young and old. Marazion's wide sandy beaches provide opportunity for a host of seaside activities including sailing, wind or kite surfing, swimming, fishing, rock pooling, stand up paddle board and kayaking: or you can simply relax, make sandcastles and take in the stunning views of St Michaels Mount. The long distance walking route 'South West Coast Path' passes though Marazion and for nature lovers there is a RSPB nature reserve at Marazion Marsh and dolphin spotting sailing boat trips in Mounts Bay from nearby Penzance. If that’s not enough Marazion is simply an ideal place to base yourself to enjoy a leisurely tour of the magnificent area and attractions between the Lizard and Lands End.
A real attraction in Marazion are the fabulous award winning restaurants and traditional pubs within walking distance of our cottages. Check out Bens Cornish Kitchen – just voted the 2016 Best Restaurant in the South West. Also check out The Mount Haven Hotel, The Kings Arms, and the Godolphin Arms for great food and views. There are several other amazing restaurants nearby making this part of Cornwall a gastronomic and seaside holiday makers paradise.
Marazion also boasts a growing number of excellent galleries featuring local artists and catering for all tastes and budgets. We’d love to welcome you to stay in our B&B in Marazion and look forward to your call. Alison Elliott
