About Hollow Creek Cottage
Hollow Creek Cottage was a traditional farm workers cottage dating back to 1760, situated on a small holding with horses, geese, hens and cockerels. The owners renovated, refurbished and equipped it to a very good standard, but retained its original character. It is situated 3 miles west of the historic city of Carlisle, in the village of Kirkandrews on Eden, which lies on Hadrian’s Wall and on the Cumbrian Coastal Path. The village is close to the Solway Firth, with numerous nature reserves and birdlife sanctuaries in the area and 7 acres of land to roam adjoining the property. There is a pub in the next village and more amenities and places of interest in Carlisle. The location will suit walkers, cyclists, bird watchers and those who are interested in our heritage.
