About Aquila cafe
Back in August 1983 when the second generation of the Ford Fiesta launched and the A-prefix registration plates were starting to appear on vehicles, an Italian man decided to open a cozy little cafe in the heart of East London and Aquila Cafe was born. Aquila started off as a little cafe serving rolls, sandwiches, teas and coffees, in 2013 it had a face lift with a completely new menu serving Traditional English Breakfasts, a huge selection of sandwiches, specialty coffee, delicious salads and much more!
33 years later, Aquila Cafe has become one of the most popular places for residents and workers of City Road and has remained a family owned business.
